TPT Red Range Fairway Shafts
The newest addition to the TPT Red Range shafts are the TPT Red Range Fairway shafts. Designed to complement the TPT Red Range driver shafts, here are our observations:
Shaft Bend/Load Profile
The shafts in each category, i.e. 16 Hi will have a very similar if not identical bend/load profile. This means the driver and fairway shafts will feel very similar and have almost identical launch profiles.
Shaft Weight
The weighting on the TPT Fairway versions will weigh 8 to 13 grams heavier than the TPR Red Range driver shafts. For example, a TPT Red Range 16 LO will weigh 73 grams while the TPT 16 LO Fairway will weigh 84 grams.
Balance Point
The balance point on the TPT Fairway shafts will be higher which means that the swing weights in fairway woods may be a little lighter, which is a great thing since fairway woods are much heavier than drivers.
