A golf club consists of three basic parts: head, shaft and grip. When a golf club is put in motion by the golfer’s swing, the shaft is the part that moves the most and is responsible for delivering the energy of your swing to the golf ball. In essence, you are the engine and the shaft is the transmission of energy and direction that creates long, accurate and consistent golf shots. The unique aspects of your swing can cause a shaft to bend and release in different directions with different results depending upon the characteristics of the shaft.
